VA-SRA Minutes 3/30/1995

The meeting was called to order by Roberta Nixon, president, at the Center for Innovative Technology in Herndon, Virginia. The president announced the election results and introduced the officers:

President: Roberta A. Nixon
President-Elect: Bob E. Wolfson
Secretary/Treasurer: Kelly Ann Bowery

The president also welcomed distinguished guests in attendance. James L. Pyle, Ph.D., President, Society of Research Administrators, spoke following the meeting. First Time attendees were recognized. Bob Wolfson gave a report from the SRA Board of Directors Meeting. The minutes of the first meeting were read. A motion was made to accept them and was seconded. The membership discussed the next meeting date and site. Chuck Chermside volunteered to host the third meeting at Virginia Commonwealth University. It was decided by consensus to hold the next meeting in the late summer, early fall before the national meeting in Chicago. The meeting was adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
